Hannah studied the violin with Coosje Wijzenbeek until she was 18 years old. In December 2011 she finished her bachelor degree in viola with the highest distinction at the Conservatoire of Amsterdam, where she studied with Marjolein Dispa. She also studied with Pierre-Henri Xuereb at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris. At the moment she is studying for her postgraduate degree at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, generously supported by the Dutch Foundation of the Performing Arts and the Prins Bernhard Cultural Foundation.
Hannah won several prizes in both National and International competitions. She had lessons and masterclasses with Yuri Bashmet, Nobuko Imai, Lawrence Power, Antoine Tamestit, Michael Tree and Thomas Riebl, and she took part in several festivals throughout Europe and North America such as the Verbier Festival, IMS Prussia Cove (UK) and she studied with Pinchas Zukerman in his “Young Artist Program” in Ottawa.
Hannah plays a Johannes Cuypers Viola (1776), on loan from the Dutch National Music Instrument Foundation.
